For real, I feel really bad about how the internet treated him last year (myself included - I didn't make any, but I laughed at the jokes). The fact that he's able to articulate that and laugh it off is pretty impressive. He's very fun to watch and I hope we get to for a long time.

I think Zion has a good emotional support system. That's why he can take the criticisms thrown at him more lightly. He openly talks about his emotional, and mental health, and gives credit to the people who helps him get through those down times. And that's one of the things I love about Zion. I wish these people around him continues to support him throughout his career.

He's still young, pretty much a kid, can't imagine if I was his age and people were constantly talking about my weight and diet. As if they're the pinnacle of health.

Some folks are literally just looking for opportunities to be dicks. The 'I'm sure he can take it' is just about reassuring themselves they're allowed to.
